What makes My Curious Child learning resources different from others?

We believe that learning should be joyful, hands-on, and meaningful — not a race to stay ahead. Our resources gently introduce real-world ideas like Math, Science and Social-Emotional Learning through play, imagination, and storytelling. Each experience encourages children and parents to explore, create, and connect — turning the home learning experience into something they truly enjoy, and one that connects learning to real life!

Are your books suitable for my child’s age?

Our resources are designed for children ranging from ages 3–8 years old, covering both preschool and early primary years, where the goal is to introduce basic concepts within each subject in a way that would help them see their connection to real life. Each story and activity allows children to discover and learn at their own pace — so younger ones can get gentle, playful exposure, while older children can build foundational understanding in fun, meaningful ways and better connect with what they’re learning in school.

How can parents use these books and activities at home?

Each storybook comes with conversation prompts, and each play-based activity book includes family activities and games designed for parents to enjoy with their children.
You don’t need to “teach” — simply read, play, and explore together. Our materials encourage natural conversations that help children make sense of what they see, think, and feel.

How can I introduce your books to my child?

We recommend starting by simply reading the storybooks together — no “lesson plan” needed! Ask questions and enjoy the funny moments. Once your child is older and developmentally ready, let them explore the activities in our Play & Learn books at their own pace and based on their interests. Over time, you’ll see how naturally your child begins to connect play and learning.

How do I know if my child is learning anything?

When your child asks questions, shows curiosity, or becomes deeply engaged in play — that’s learning in action! We don’t measure success by worksheets completed but by confidence, curiosity, and joy. That’s the foundation for lifelong learning.

What’s next for My Curious Child?

We’re currently in the process of completing our Curious Little Critters Maths Adventures collection of storybooks and playbooks. We also plan to expand our universe of animal characters and story-based learning into Science and, potentially, deeper into Social-Emotional Learning—continuing to help families explore, learn, and play together.
